Indulge your feet in the luxurious embrace of our fuzzy slippers and slip-on slippers designed to keep you snug and pampered. They're more cozy than my Allbirds, but the sole feels heavier and louder.Comfort and style intertwine effortlessly with our women’s slippers collection. The ones I got as a gift are about 3 sizes too small for me, so my heel just hangs out over the back. I received a pair of these Ugg slippers as a gift years ago and they are wonderful, too. I might still cave in because I spend a lot of time at home. I would loooove a pair of the shearling-lined Boston clogs-probably my holy grail between the wool lining and arch support, but I haven't yet been able to bring myself to spend like $150 on what would end up being just a pair of slippers. This year I've been wearing the Allbirds Wool Loungers around the house as slippers, with an arch insert put in under the regular wool insole, and I really like how soft and warm and light they are, with good support from the added insole, and obviously the soles are suitable for going outside.ĭuring the summer, I was wearing Birkenstock Arizonas sandals around the house. for slippers to avoid stinky, sweaty feet! I've had faux-shearling-lined slippers in the past that reeked almost immediately. Great for doing stuff around the house and you can slip them on and off. They aren't as cozy as some of the other options so if she wants them for lounging around, those would be great! But if wants to stand a lot, these are great option. She doesn't wear them outside so they don't get dirty. They are comfy, supportive, and have good grip. She actually wears Merrell brand slip ons instead of slippers. My mom has a lot of issues with her feet as well and she stands a lot during the day at home. It was a rather off-putting experience, but in the end, I wear my Glerups slippers almost constantly and regard thick felted wool as the ideal material for winter shoes. If you do try them, I would highly recommend trying on locally (if available to you), or choosing a seller that offers free shipping and free returns: I placed my first order (for the rubber-soled boot model in 'forest' green) directly from Glerups and the cs rep was full of excuses for the major inconsistencies in sizing and color, and refused to cover the return shipping until I said I would contact the credit card company since what I received was absolutely not what I ordered. We all have our own experience and I am definitely pickier than most about clothing/shoe functionality perhaps you would love them or at least be able to free yourself of the regret you alluded to in your first comment. There are rubber-soled models available from Amazon (USA).
